Dr. David Hughes grew up in Texas where he graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2003. Prior to that he graduated from Utah Valley University on the Dean’s High Honors List with an Associate in Science, and also received his Bachelors of Science in Anatomy at Parker College of Chiropractic. His passion for Chiropractic started when Dr. Dave was a young boy. He knew by the age of 14 that he wanted to become a Chiropractor. Dr. Dave is philosophically chiropractic rooted in alternative, whole body care. Dr. Dave has received extensive training in several techniques including Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), Thompson Technique, Activator Technique, and Flexion-Distraction and Diversified. He is also a member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association. Dr. Dave is very excited to continue Dr. Ronald Dahl’s technique and style and help his patients receive the same care they have loved and received from Dr. Dahl.
Dr. Dave has been married to his beautiful wife Sherry Hughes since 1997. They have 3 amazing children together Candace, Devin, and Allyssa. The whole family is excited to practice in the community of Loveland and look forward to many years of serving patients in the area.

Dr. Michael Hughes grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University. Soon after he enrolled at Parker Chiropractic University in Dallas, TX and graduated in 2002. Becoming a doctor of chiropractic fulfilled a life-time desire since the age of 14. Dr. Mike experienced many miracles in his youth from chiropractic which began his passion to become a chiropractor. He has successfully treated patients from infants to adults with is soft touch over the past 10+ years. He has been trained and practices the techniques of: Thompson, Activator, Diversified, Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), Cox-Flexion/Distraction. Passionate about the chiropractic profession, Dr. Mike will continue to give lectures to the public and his patients about the philosophy of chiropractic and it’s all natural approach to allowing the body to heal itself by removing nerve interference caused by spinal trauma, stress, posture and joint dysfunction. Dr. Mike is living his vision to educate the public about the science and miracles of chiropractic care. Dr. Mike is very excited to continue Dr. Ronald Dahl’s technique and style and help his patients receive the same care they have loved and received from Dr. Dahl.

Dr. Shannon comes to Gateway Family Chiropractic from Houston, Texas. Shannon graduated from Texas Chiropractic College with an Associates in Biology, a Bachelors in Human Biology, and as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She is currently training to receive a diplomate from the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) focusing on chiropractic techniques specialized for pregnant women and children.
Her passion for chiropractic started in high school when she discovered chiropractic and how effective it was while competing in many high level sports and getting various injures from them. Dr. Shannon is a 2nd degree black belt in Mixed Martial Arts and practiced karate for 15 years before going to Chiropractic College. She won 1st place in the Bando National Kickboxing Championship in 2006. Her love for feeling and performing at her best is what lead her to help others. She receives the most joy when she can help patients return to hobbies they loved, but had to stop due to pain.
Dr. Shannon has been trained in many different chiropractic techniques: Thompson, Diversified, Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), Flexion-Distraction, and activator. She is a member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association and is Webster Certified.
Shannon and her husband have been happily married since 2009 and they have 4 kiddos: Dominic, McKenna, Zoe, and Evelyn. She loves spending time with her family outdoors hiking, biking, boating, snowboarding, and of course binge watching Netflix from time to time.

Becky Miller was born and raised in Northern Illinois where she graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and had been in practice for nearly 20 years as a Certified Massage Therapist. Becky has taught Massage Therapy, wrote a curriculum for a community college, as well as being a Certified Medical Coder and the owner/operator of two businesses in Illinois. Upon moving to Colorado in December of 2013, Becky decided to return back to her roots in the chiropractic environment which has always been dear to her heart.
Becky and her husband, Marc, enjoy spending time with their three beautiful children biking, hiking, and camping. Most of the time, Becky is the loud mom cheering for her kids in their sporting events and enjoying every moment of it! While there is not much down time, scrap-booking is also something that she enjoys. Becky is excited about her future and the future of Gateway Family Chiropractic. She envisions growing with the practice and greeting every patient with a smile!

Dr. Kimberly Bruno has been passionate about nutrition and achieving optimum health from a young age. She believes that proper nutrition is the foundation of health and the key to attaining a well-balanced system.
Because of Dr. Bruno’s passion for preventative and functional medicine she pursued and received her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago where she concurrently attained her Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) degree.
Dr. Bruno has a dedicated herself to working with lifestyle medicine issues as well as promoting a prevention model of health care for all of her patients. She addresses nutritional issues including but not limited to: digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, food sensitivities, weight loss, diabetes management, hormone and thyroid imbalances, pediatric nutrition, pre and post natal needs, and chronic fatigue.
Dr. Bruno is a Colorado native, she attended Colorado State University were she received her bachelors of science in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion. She returned to Northern Colorado after her doctorate program. She enjoys all mountain activities such hiking, snowshoeing as well as being with her husband and young daughter.
Gabriela is a licensed massage therapist, completing a 1000 hour massage program in Colorado. She has continued her education with certifications in Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Canine massage. Prior to becoming a massage therapist she served 26 years in the U.S. military, six years as a linguist and 20 years as a helicopter pilot. Starting a career in the health industry was something she had always wanted, and the holistic style of massage therapy was a perfect fit for her and her family. She has a great, and very supportive, husband and two wonderful boys starting college soon. She is a Colorado native and loves being out in her garden whenever she can. “I believe chiropractic care and the therapy of touch, although it’s been around forever, should be the future of healthcare for all of us.

Stephanie Fitzgerald was born in Colorado and raised in Southwest Michigan. Her family moved back to Colorado in 2008 and she has since been busy raising her three girls and enjoying her growing family. She and her husband Shawn love sharing time together, playing volleyball, creating unique home-brew recipes, and spending time with their 5 amazing children. As a family they enjoy attending church, camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and playing sports.
Stephanie has extensive office management experience in several settings including manufacturing, education and chiropractic offices.
She met the staff at Gateway Family Chiropractic while seeking chiropractic care for her daughter and feels blessed to now be part of Gateway’s amazing family. She is excited about the vision, growth, and passion here and loves to see people come in to begin their healing with chiropractic!
Kristin is a recent graduate from Colorado State University. She was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado and moved to Fort Collins in 2012 to pursue higher education. She loves to spend time with her parents and her three older siblings as much as she can. In her free time, you can find Kristin exploring the outdoors, running and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Kristin has always had a passion for helping others, which is why our chiropractic office is a great fit for her. She truly believes in the power of Chiropractic care and is ecstatic to learn and grow with Gateway Family Chiropractic.
